Whilst many of our members took the end of the local league season as an opportunity to
rest and recuperate through the summer, two of our Ladies members extended their season
playing for their respective West Area Masters teams. Having competed in open trials earlier
in the season Tracy Fieldsend (060s) and Sue Lee (055s) were selected as part of their
respective squads to represent the West region at the England Hockey Area Masters
tournaments in May and June. Both teams went on to win their competitions claiming the title
of National Champions.
